Art for Change is a show and sale of original, 5x7 inch artworks on paper by artists of all levels, from emerging to established, whose entire $35.00 sale price benefits a not-for-profit organization facilitating positive change within our community. Each piece is exhibited anonymously, and the identity of the artist is revealed only after the work is purchased. Collectors walk away with something beautiful, a piece of art they love, with their money going directly to support their community. Art for Change provides an excellent opportunity for one-of-a-kind gift giving that helps foster meaningful community change. The Second Annual Art For Change will benefit SAFE HARBOR, an emergency/transitional shelter for homeless single men and women located in Easton, PA. Attention Artists!!!
DEADLINE: Saturday, November 21, 2009 ALL artists are invited and encouraged to donate a 5x7 inch original work on paper for the exhibition and sale. Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and mixed media are all welcome. Mercantile Home will also select thirteen donated works to be included in a limited edition 2010 Art for Change Calendar benefiting SAFE HARBOR.
